 Nebraska - Anybody Dive There? (Just kidding.) Nebraska was admitted into the Union on March 1, 1867, becoming our Nation's 37th state. Nicknamed the "Cornhusker State," most likely by a politician. Nebraska quickly became known for a winning college football team and residents that travel to exotic dive destinations - like South Dakota. Watch for Nebraska State Quarter products from the Mint in April.  |
