Call us in '08, when it matters. -- Popeye Not if, but -when- I die, half the people around here will party because they're my friends, and they know I would demand that. The other half will party as well, glad to be rid of me, and I'll see them in hell. www.finalprotectivefire.com |

According to MSN.com, the balance currently sits at 48 Dems, 49 Reps, and 2 independants. MSN also claims that the Dems will take over control of the senate if they win the last race. How do they get control if the Dems and Reps each hold the same number of seats? |

CNN is reporting things differently. They have 51 seats for the dems, 49 for the repubs, and 0 independents. http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006/pages/results/senate/ Not sure why there's a discrepancy.
