Default Turks and Caicos

Going on the Aggressor very soon and will be in the town for one night near
Turtle Cove. Any cool things to do that day/night?

Jump in a cab for the 15 minute ride to Leeward. Go to the Conch "farm" and
watch them GROW!! That is about the most exciting thing happening iun TCI!!

Or just hang at Tiki Hut Restaurant and chug a few brews, have some cracked
conch (much better than the farm) and enjoy the land beneath your feet.

When diving "The Crack" at NW point, be sure to swim UP, not down the crack.
The life that collects under the plate coral and in the deep recesses is
just amazing. Take a lamp. Even at day it is amazing the things you can
see with a bit of "torch light".

Agree with this.

There are/were at least 5 or so restaurants witin easy walking distance
of Turle Cove. One of them is at the motel on top the hill. Their
dining area has a beautiful view -- worth the climb. I don't recall
the quality of food or prices, so it must have been O.K. and in line
with other local prices.

The Tiki Hut is the place for breakfast and lunch. You might even want
to pick up a box lunch for the flight home.

You will have a great time. I was there last November. Lots of sharks, rays,
turtles. Great wall diving. Bring some sea sickness medication, sometimes
the trip from Turtle Cove to the Northwest Point can get rough.
