| Looking to possibly go this summer (Jul-Aug) for mostly scuba, but other sites/activities of interest on land would be of interest also. Thanks. |

Go NOW before it looks like Cancun or some other overdeveloped place. Topside is quite, scuba on the other hand is FANTASTIC. I've been there one month at a time 1999, 2001, 2002 & 2003 on Grace Bay on Provo. I over booked this summer, but may squeeze in 2 weeks in August. BTW: Lobster season open there 8/1, so if you like to eat bugs, go after 7/31~!!! Try Flamingo Divers, tell 'em Chip says hello! Mtbchip San Diego, CA |

| For MOSTLY scuba, I would suggest a liveaboard. There are 2 liveaboard operations there. Most of the good sites are a LONG boat ride from Turtle Cove (on Grace Bay), and the conditions can be rough. I have done the trip twice. Excellent diving. Lots of really great wall dives. Lots of big critters. Here are 2 links for the liveaboard boats. http://www.aggressor.com/subpage.php?d=6 http://www.caribexplorer.com/ Like someone already said, development is making a mess of the place. | Just got back from TCI, I agree with Mtbchip there is a massive amount of construction going on. I dived with Dive Provo (British run school) based at Ports Of Call (nearest hotel-Comfort Suites). Excellent reef walls, no wrecks. But long boat trips (1 hour approx in most cases). Also next to Ports of Call is Fifi Kunz's Caicos Adventures. Here are the websites. http://www.diveprovo.com/ http://www.tcidiving.com/ Go now before it turns into concrete jungle!!
