Default Whale Sharks

Is there a location to dive to see whale sharks in August or September?

Thanks,
Dave

I haven't had enough experience with these wonderful fish to be an expert
but I think you will find that there are several locations and they will
probably all be snorkeling rather than diving expeditions.

I think you're wrong.

Snorkeling at Wolf and Darwin Islands would be lousy.

I'm more than willing to stand corrected. The trips that I knew about were
all snorkeling but I just Googled Darwin and found an account of diving with
whale sharks. All the better!

I saw unseassonable whale sharks at June in the Galapagus islands. What
thinks you not be whale sharks there at August? Are they on a tight
schedule?

Ummm... of all the people to post this gibberish, I never expected it to be
Greg. Hitting the bottle a little early today?

Or, better yet, www.aggressor.com.

Here's the trip report from the week before I went:

Saves me from having to write my own. Same water temps, same big fish.

To be more precise, the whale shark encounter may be snorkel based.
I was diving in Roatan when it came over the radio that one was cruising
by. So we detoured on the way back to dock to find it, and jumped in
to swim along with it. At the pace it was swimming, no diver would keep
up for long. I did get enough time to get a few ok pics with an aquashot.
