| Hi, I'm going to Yucatan this November. Can you recommend a diving center and a place to stay? I am more interested in cenotes diving than reef, but plan to do both. Is Akumal Adventures and Cabanas Copal worth diving with and living? What divesites do you think are the best? best, Filip |

We would drive of into the Jungle in his Ute, just him, me and my wife. Dave Morgan @ Work in the UK Take out the "goes diving" bit.... Trip photos on line at www.morg.co.uk |

| Just back from Yucatan. Dos Ojos is a must see Cenote. You can dive all the major cenotes from Playa del Carmen which is a fun town. Beach Divers, whose office is on the park next to the ferry terminal, will set up cenote dives with great guides for a discount. Tell them Thomas from Nuevo Mexico sent you. For a more idylic beach setting Tulum is another option. From Tulum you may be a little closer to dos ojos etc. They may also do Cenotes further south than the Playa ops. Take thermal protection, water temps are 77 degrees in Sep. A 7mil wetsuit would be nice. |

| Hi I can really recomend www.divemike.com in Playa del Carmen. Mike is probably the most serious dive operator, instructor (cave) we met in Playa. His staff is also very skilled, and he is not doing it the Mexican way (saving on staff and boat crew). After a reef-dive we found a group of divers floating around, without any means for signaling to the boat, wich we found a few miles away. (Phantomdivers). You can find cheap hotels on the mainstreet of Playa just 100m from DiveMike. Mike is Danish.
