Why do you think they're entitled to a refund if they lied about their
experience and ability?

I assume nothing.

Neither one of was was there so we don't even know if any
prerequisites were put forth. Other than the usual two - must be
certified and must pay for the service.

We also don't know whether or not the divers lied or told the truth.

Actually, I wasn't, but I couldn't come up with a good way of saying
"they have the prerequisite number of dives, but suck anyway." Thanks
for finding the words for me
