The Christmas week was mostly rainy and often windy and miserable, though there were some breaks. New Year's Eve to Jan 8, the weather was absolutely sublime. >Nice sunsets:) did you get any underwater > shots? Very nice shots, Sandi. |

| Nothing underwater. I don't dive, my kid does....and I'm not about to let a 17 year old take a Nikon D70 Digital under water! She has some point and shoot stuff she needs to get developed and I don't hold out much hope for that since photo processing leaves a lot to be desired here in the Third World. Sandi |

Sounds like you should get her a digital camera for UW work. I hear the D-70 is excellent. Seriously, if you trust her to dive, why are you worried about the camera? -- Steve The above can be construed as personal opinion in the absence of a reasonable belief that it was intended as a statement of fact. | The D70 isnīt my camera so a) I wonīt loan $2000 in borrowed camera to her and b) I donīt have an underwater housing a camera that I donīt own. I have a Nikon 6006, film, but donīt use it since processing here is horrid. Since I neither dive nor snorkel, I donīt have an underwaterhousing for that either. In the past, Iīve rented underwater cameras at dive shops for her. She leaves them on the boat or in the hotel room. Sheīs not real into photography. Sandi |
