After the Australian incident, and given that this was year 2000, there wasn't anyone who didn't understand the importance of confirming passenger presence before departing a dive site. To me this just seems like callous negligence. We should want to reward outfits that have proven to practice safe procedures for the guests, not those who have proven otherwise....regardless of how good they have become of late. |

Actually, it doesn't matter which was first. It does not take a rocket scientist to know that you are supposed to return to the dock with the same number of people you left with or to figure out how to know that you will. Lee |
