Let's just say my favourite word at the moment is "medusiverous", as in
fish. Look that up in your Funk and Wagnells.

Default Mediterranean jellyfish

Anyone been to the med recently? I have heard a number of reports of
record jellyfish swarms.
Myself I got caught up in a 1 million + swarm off north Malta.
