I read an article about this earlier today. However, it led the reader to
believe that they only speculated that a shark took him. I see now that the
earlier article was apparently inadequate reporting.

Shiver.

I looked up "Holy Crap" today and it said see this...

CANBERRA, Australia (AP) -- A marine researcher is missing and presumed
dead after he was attacked by a shark off a popular beach near the
southern Australian city of Adelaide, police said.
