Two lads, east africa, any suggestions ...

Guys,

Hopefully someone will come up with some good suggestions.

Myself and a mate (I'm an experienced diver, he is still under 20
dives) are looking to grab a week's diving somewhere on East Africa.

As well as hopefully great diving, it would be nice if there was a bit
of life above the water as well - places to go out in the evening,
enjoy a few drinks, meet other people, etc.

Any suggestions? With such could you please let me know what the
diving is like, the life is like, etc.

We are looking to go next month (Oct 2006).
