Default Re: Murex Dive Resort and liveaboards

Hubby and I stayed at the Murex resort April 2005. The Manado resort is
comfortable and basic, the food is good. There was a young Dutch couple who
went to Bangka as they had heard it was very secluded. It was so secluded
they returned early. Apparently there was nothing to do and nowhere to go
(and no air conditioning) but the staff were marvelous. Didn't do their
liveaboard though - it had been hired by a Japanese film crew. Manado has
different kinds of diving, big fish action and macro but much less macro
than Lembeh.

Thank you Jo, we'll try another combination.

Default Murex Dive Resort and liveaboards

I'm planning a divetrip to North Sulawesi next year.
My wife (nondiver) and I are thinking of 1 week on Bangka Island and 1 week
liveaboard up among The Sangie Islands.
Has somebody some experience with Murex?
