| we are planning a trip to sipadan this next summer2004, i would greatly apreciate any comments regarding the diving out there as there are so many reports of the ecosystem being in ruins and the diving no better than the english north sea, is it a total waste of money and time, comments please and greatly appreciated, |

| Well, they do have one world-class dive site, "the hanging gardens." I do wish that they had more. dave clayton wrote: > we are planning a trip to sipadan this next summer2004, > i would greatly apreciate any comments regarding the diving out there as > there are so many reports of the ecosystem being in ruins and the diving no > better than the english north sea, > is it a total waste of money and time, > comments please and greatly appreciated, |

| Sipadan is one of the best dive destinations in the world, and my trip there last 2 months still confirms this. For more information, you can probably check my article on Sipadan at http://www.borneodiverskl.com Regards, Joe "Daniel Kessler" <dkessler@pop.cybernex.net> wrote in message news:3F2DC4A9.EFFB78B2@pop.cybernex.net... > Well, they do have one world-class dive site, "the hanging gardens." Turtles ....i could not count them..... Sharks (reef)....abundant........ Barracuda........countless........ Bumphead Parrot Fish.....heards of them..... Jack's.......to many to count........ But watch out for the Titan's....several attacks witnessed. Waste of money.........depends what it costs you, we stayed on Seaventures Rig, just of Mabul....fantastic muck diving there and on Kapali......15 mins by boaty from Sipadan....a fantastic trip for us. See.....WWW.SEAVENTURESDIVES.COM > comments please and greatly appreciated, Well there you have it...for what its worth. Dave....at home in the UK. www.morg.net |

| Take a look at www.sipadan-village.com.my. It's the ultimative dive center on the island Mabul. a package includes boat dives on Sipadan and local dives with fantistic possiblities for macro. We have been there twice and hope to come again. | Lucky you! I have just returned from Sipadan last Friday. Dive sites are great, lots of fish, turtles, sharks, barrakudas and jacks. I also visited Mabul and Kapalai. My personal recommendation: Sipadan Dive Center on Sipadan and 1-2 trips to Mabul and Kapalai (very different but also great). 5-6 days will satisfy you. And make reservation 4-6 months in advance. You will sleep better Summer is a peak period. I will show some pics from my trips shortly but I need time to update my website (http://acn.waw.pl/bubbles) Filip Użytkownik "dave clayton" <daveclayton2@btopenworld.com> napisał w wiadomości news:bgj87r$6k7$1@hercules.btinternet.com... > we are planning a trip to sipadan this next summer2004, > i would greatly apreciate any comments regarding the diving out there as > there are so many reports of the ecosystem being in ruins and the diving no > better than the english north sea, > is it a total waste of money and time, > comments please and greatly appreciated, > > |
