Default Vietnam

We're going to be in Vietnam in July/August and would like to do some
diving.

Does anyone know what the conditions are like at that time of year?

If unfavourable, is there any other place in SE Asia which will be OK.

Many thanks.

Nigel

If you do find good diving there, please let us know. I asked around
about it a couple years ago, because I am very interested in going
back to visit where I was stationed there almost 40 years ago. I still
am interested in that, but what I learned about diving was that many
of the reefs have been destroyed by dynamite and cyanide fishing.
There are some dive operators, up around Da Nang as I recall, and from
their Web sites you'd think it was Palau, but it might be
disappointing.

But if you're in SE Asia anyway, check out Thailand and Malaysia, and
you're not that from from Indonesia, either.

Good luck, and I'm serious about letting us know if you do find good
diving in Vietnam. Have a great trip.
