New features September/October

Just to give everybody a quick update on new features that were developed last month and that we plan for this month.

Unfortunatelly our main developer has developed a serious health issue, so we didn't have a lot of progress in August, but we found a replacement and things are getting back on track now.

So what's new and what's coming?
- A great manual about diving: scubish.com: DIVING WITH DEEP-SIX

- A improved link management interface that allows us to validate requests for new links in our links section much easier. scubish.com: Links

- We have hired a writer to provide us with lots of great articles about scuba diving. You can already see the first samples on our home page ("featured location") and we expect to integrate this new content throughout the site soon.

- We have also spend a lot of time on researching dive sites around the world and will add about 1000 sites with names, GPS coordinates and descriptions in October.

- Also we have entered a partner agreement that provides us with a huge database of hotels around the world and we will also try to integrate those with our maps in October. This should allow you to find hotels close to the dive shops you are interested in.

- We have also found a great source for weather forecasts and plan to integrate those in October as well.

- And last not least we are working on an improved way to prevent duplicates in our diveshop database.
